LA Myth

Here is the painting I did for the LA myth show ( on tonight(being Saturday August 11 at 7:30 at Meltdown in LA). The premise of the show was LA myths. The question I asked was "What happens to Washed up Hollywood Starlets?" I was totally inspired by a great artist and a friend named Kevin Dart (whazzup Fleet Street Scandal!) to paint Old movie monsters. So I painted the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Hope you come down to the show and say Hello!

Looks great Kristen. I like how nobody seems to be too happy (or care) about their situation. More of a hassle for the lagoon monster, and the dame he nabbed looks like she's on the scauce.

I'm surprised and completely thrilled Kristen, your painting my favorite movie monster of all time! Are you going to make prints out of this painting?

AMAZING piece! It's so dark- I love it!! Stopped by the gallery again this weekend with my folks and saw that your painting has a big star next to it. And, that means it's SOLD. Congrats! Sorry I didn't bump into you on opening night...but perhaps I'll catch you at the next big event. Cheers! :)
